Rooms

• Our reception is staffed 24 hours a day.
• Children of any age can stay at the hotel as long as they are accompanied by an adult. An adult is considered to be those aged 18 years and above. We have family rooms that can accommodate up to 2 adults and 2 children.
• You're welcome to store your bags with us before check in.
• If you have any preference regarding the views, location of the room, or any other subject relating to your reservation, please let us know ahead of your stay. We will endeavour to try and will do everything to make your stay with us as pleasant as possible, but we can not guarantee the requests. Please note, some requests may incur additional expenses, you will always be informed at the time of making the request.

Advanced purchase rate

This rate is prepaid at the time of booking – nontransferable and nonrefundable. This rate is available up to one day prior to your arrival date.

Flexible purchase rate

There is no charge, and any deposit paid will be returned if a guaranteed reservation is cancelled at any time up to 3pm the day prior to arrival. This is not applicable to an advanced purchase rate. In the event of non-arrival or cancellation after this time and where the booking has been guaranteed, a charge equivalent to one night’s accommodation at the package rate at which the reservation was made will be levied.

Amending bookings

You can submit an inquiry here or call us on 02476 450 450 to amend your booking. Please note, some rates are non-refundable and non-amendable.

Dining

• You can book online or call us on 02476 450 450. All tables must be pre-booked. We cannot take walk-in reservations, unfortunately.
• If you have received a gift voucher, please let us know when you book a table with us. Please ensure your voucher is still valid and has not expired. You must bring a physical copy of your voucher on the day as a form of payment otherwise full payment may be required. We accept gift vouchers that have been purchased directly through us, Buy-A-Gift, Red Letter Days and Virgin Experiences.
• We have a children’s menu for dinner bookings however we do not have a specific children’s afternoon tea menu, we advise 2 children to share one Abbot’s Afternoon Tea.
